CWU45/P (Faux – Nomex) The closest thing to the current issue mil-spec flyer's jacket on the market today, it looks and feels like the real thing. It looks like Nomex, but it's not. Features a nylon outer shell, polyester quilted lining, knit cuffs and waistband, two double stitched cargo pockets with velcro closure, velcro name tape placement, and Signature Alpha zippered utility/pencil pocket.

Jacket being used for AF-aux flyiung missions. Wanted a nice Airforce issued jacket but without the high price of Nomex.
I saw the nylon version of the CWU-45p and was not impressed, the faux nomex is more nice looking, has proven to be warmer than my military issued jacket (sans older version) and although I thought would not be all that comfortable, it has turned out to be very nice fitting and comfortable.
