I bought it specifically for carrying RPG books and it works perfectly! I have also used my older, smaller one for traveling and camping so the new, bigger one should be more than adequate for that purpose as well. It is small enough to be considered carry-on when flying and you can't go wrong with the black or the olive green colors! This is a really well- made, handy, versatile bag!
