Does what it's supposed to. Wash it one time in the dishwasher to get rid of the plastic taste and it is good to go. Also, be sure to wash it after every time you fill it up with water, since it can develop a moldy smell if you leave it for too long. Also, fits excellently in ALICE LC-1 style Canteen Pouches. I would suggest carrying at least one of these anytime you're doing an outdoors activity.
