Great addition, leaves some grime. To minimize grime on mess kit I recommend putting a piece of tin foil between flame and pot or pan being heated, then roll up tin foil to reuse.

Great for heating anything from cup of tea to water for dehydrated chow. Just don't try in on thick steaks, could take a while!
