Uncle Sam has a Soviet-era awards collection along with a room of World War II relics including this affordable Russian Wool Great Coat. The Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet wore this. Consisting of a gymnastiorka, the uniquely Russian style is made of a brown gaberdine wool. The fashion is stunning with high boots, hat, pins, and constructed with length below the ankle for cold Russian winters. Wear a bathing suit in the middle of winter, this coat is 100% extremely thick melton wool. It alone keeps one toasty in the dead of winter. worn by Soviets during the Cold War. The double breasts have slant pockets at the front sides. They are about 8" inches long and Satin lined. The entire coat is satin lined. Hard plastic brass colored buttons have Russian infantry buttons. The back of the garment is extremely detailed. From the neck to the back it is a 17" pleat, added for ease of movement. There are waist tabs to keep a fitted, imperial posture. At the bottom of the coat, there is a 21" inch Gusseted pleat that may be buttoned close for added heat. The jacket is very versatile. It was truly a horse riding jacket for the Russian infantry, though it is ideal for extremely cold winters. May include: * Soviet CCCP Cold War relics, pins, and cross rifles. * 4 small brass buttons * Two hand warming pockets * Rank labels * Fitted style at the waist * Rank lapels * Eight brass Russian buttons

Comments about Russian Wool Great Coat - Vintage:

I found this coat very handy to keep in your car. This coat is big enough that i could sleep in it to stay warm. Also because it is a trench coat style the coat also keeps the cold off your lower torso. In the cold wind this jacket holds up very well. It is heavy but it will protect someone in the cold.
