Comments about G.I. TYPE VIETNAM WIND UP WATCH:
Yep, probably off by a minute or two a day just like my issue watch. Synchronizing your watch with others was important because they ALL lost or gained time. This watch was originally designed to be disposable so don't expect a Rolex. The lens is optical plastic, like mine, and will scuff and scratch under active use. The manufacturer keeps right to specs for a low-cost utility watch. They are also to specs on a great, nostalgic look and feel. If you had an original it will bring back instant memories. I guarantee it will start many good conversations.
