I have used these boots for about two weeks now. So far so good. Very impressed with overall quality and durability. I work for the local Sheriff's dept, in the jail, and on transfers. So, I am on my feet quite a bit. These are very comfortable, and did not take very long to break in. The quick zip feature is very nice when the shift is over and it's time to leave. I work in security, which means I am on my feet all day. I have worn a lot of boots, but none were more comfortable than these! They breathe well, and and provide excellent traction. The side-zipper closure works great, and makes it fast and easy to get them on and off. The only drawbacks I have found so far are the tightness around the ankle and calf, and the fact that they can become uncomfortably hot, especially during the summertime. The best use for these would be in a cold, wet environment, such as an Iowa winter!
