This backpack is a great size for a student to carry all of their daily needs. It is very well constructed, I'm thinking it will last longer than one school year. It will also be used for traveling. The main compartment is large and has lots of room. The three outside compartments are large enough that you can actually carry needed items in them. This is a gift for my 4th grade daughter, she has her own type of style and this is what she requested. I'm very happy with this purchase and will most likely be buying a second one for my son who is in high school. Great price and quality.
