We measured before we purchased this product with clothes on and ordered one size up and it was still a tight fit. Perhaps having charts would have been helpful as it does not fit true to size. Beautiful coat though returned it for a different size. [...]

Too small the first time following the Size Chart, then exchange OK. [...]Tips for buying coats or jackets:Measure your chest size with the cloths on (the cloths that you put inside your coat). Otherwise, you will be surprised that you can put nothing but a mere T-shirt inside your coat.
