I bought this because I was looking for rain gear. I love this product. It's quick to get on, keeps you dry, and comes off quickly. Because it's a poncho, it's very breathable. Haven't used it enough to say whether it wears out quickly, but I imagine it wears like most things: if you treat it well, it will last a long time.
