Comments about Mess Kit Set-Pouch+Eating/Cooking Kit:

These mess kits are very good quality but, as some others have noted, the canvas case leaves a littl to be desired. I transfered mine into a MOLLE SAW ammo pouch and that problem was solved. They are large but, lightweight and very stable on most camp stoves. Don't wake up screaming in the night because you missed out on a set of these.

Comments about Mess Kit Set-Pouch+Eating/Cooking Kit:

These are very very sturdy mess kits, and include both inside and outside trays. The bag is a little rough, but still VERY usable. They could use a bit of soap, but that's easy enough. Although I don't like how the bag attaches to other things (double velcro flap), but that is the makers fault not "Uncle Sam's".

Handy way to carry expanded survival kit

Comments about Mess Kit Set-Pouch+Eating/Cooking Kit:

Will allow greatly expanded survival kit to be carried on person.
But the 'latching' part is easily worn & becomes hard to use in certain circumstances.
Better for cooking, etc than aluminum foil (try using that for etended periods).
