Came as described. Definitely used, had to wash the mud out that was caked in the canteen holders and ammo pouches but other than that, it's a great piece of gear. I bought 2 of them: One for fishing because it holds my lure boxes nicely and I can put my beer n bait in the waterproof gas mask pouch. ;-) The other I plan on saving for when the zombies attack!

This is a great load bearing vest. If you are looking for something from the Vietnam era, this is key to own.
My only complaint was that the waist belt on the vest came too small for my sizable bulk, and it can be a real pain to put on. Luckily, the chest straps can make up for that if needed.
Overall, the vest is great. Mine came with all parts as advertised, including a pair of dummy grenades! Thanks Uncle Sam!

Just a couple of issues. The canteen was really banged up (cap unusable), and not all the items listed were sent (butt pack and magazine pouch missing). The items sent are in real good shape a will certainly outlast my sons use (future Marine someday).
