as you may have been lead with the thought that this is a shoulder bag you our wrong, as I though I was getting a shoulder bag it turnout I got a messenger bag, now there is nothing wrong with this bag, it is a very good shoulder bag carry's a lot of stuff in the main compartment and sides, but it is not good for a long walk's, it can began to start to hurt your shoulder because all of the wight is on one side, it does have a nice strap for you legs which is very nice:) there may be a way to turn this into a shoulder back but I received no such straps to do so.
