Comments about Canadian Forces '82 Pattern Rucksack:

Has construction almost identical to U.S. ALICE Pack, but roomier pockets, better fabric, and some of the hardware is better. Not as versatile with frame, straps, or add-ons. Useless without frame, but would be superior with frame: they need to be sold together or at least linked.

Comments about Canadian Forces '82 Pattern Rucksack:

This is a very high capacity pack. I got eight days worth of clothing and other goods into the pack for a trip i went on and had no trouble. The only problem is that one of the straps popped off but i just sewed it back on and it shouldn't be a problem anymore. I love this pack and use it all the time its even my bag of choice for short overnight backpacking trips(with the frame).

Comments about Canadian Forces '82 Pattern Rucksack:

I had to wash it 3 times to get the stale smell off of it. When I received the bag, I found several open bags of food rations in the pockets which I think added to the smell. I also recommend getting a frame with it. It loses its shape very quickly.
