Comments about US Army 2 Strap Duffle Bag:
I bought 3 of these for my brother, dad and I to take to Alaska. I think we may just fill up two because these are really just massive, I could easily sleep in this if I just bent my knees a bit. I could get my sleeping pad, sleeping bag, three camping pillows, three mess kits, 8 days worth of clothes, toiletries, three pairs of shoes, four (metal) water bottles, two jackets and plenty of food in it.
I was really disappointed when I pulled these out of the box though: two of them were filthy and smelled like ocean and mildew, one of them had mud streaked on it.
I just had to wash them (twice) and they were fine, still smell a bit like a warehouse, though.
Also you should buy a strap to thread through the grommets to close the bag better, especially if you're taking these on a plane (checked, of course, way to big for carry-on)
