The sizes run large. I can understand that with the difficulties in cross referencing European sizes to our standards. If you wear a 10 think about buying a 9. But, the boots I received are brand freaking new!! I don't think mine had been worn more than four times. The soles aren't even scuffed up. Hell, I bought another pair just to have them, at this price I can't loose. Now I'll have some great hunting boots for a long time. They're comfortable and rugged. The soles, although reinforced, aren't stiff. Also the soles are just as thick as the pictures indicate. I highly recommend them.

These boots were VERY well made originally, like all Swedish surplus. Mine needed a small seam repair, had a heel repair that fell off, and smell quite musty (even moldy?) However, they have new laces, are very comfy, unique style, good price. They run big and WIDE (perfect for me), and the toe is shaped like the toe of a Birkenstock shoe. In fact, I put a Birkenstock insole in them, which is part of why they have become my everyday boots. I might buy another pair before they disappear, except I'm guessing these will last 20 years...
