These are awesome rubber renforced boots that will withstand the harshest of elements.They are made of an ultra thick double sided canvas that zips at the front and ties for personalized added comfort. As you can see from the back the rubber goes high enough to protect the foot completely from wetness. In extreme cold weather you may want to add the wool booties that we have listed under #bfwlin001

Pros:
Great in snow and cold, Kept feet very warm dry, Protect in deep snow
Cons:
Didn't match other member, Should include inserts, Very faded
Best Uses:
On patrol, On the flightline

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments about Winter Green Mukluks:
I use the boot while on foot patrol and pulling duty on the flightline. I did have a very hard time finding inserts, I was unable to get the original insert, so I used Sorrell Boot inserts. They were faded very bad so they did not match the rest of the squads. However, I could not have asked for a better boot for keeping feet warm and dry.
