U.S. Vietnam Helmet Highly sought after by collectors of antique military nostalgia. They are a great resale item on Ebay and such. Costume designers love their authenticity as well. They come as a full helmet with liner inside.

well i was mistaken the steel pot and liner did not fit together very good at all,the liner is dated 80's and the chinstrap is a poor stiched peace of crud that is put together by bended hooks... i took out the liner and use the helmet just for looks now the only thing that was accurate was the steel pot OD green and was issed in the 60's and 70's idk if the order got messed up but most of it was 80's very poor vietnam helmet... the only thing this is, is a 80's m1 helmet just to fool people into thinking it is veitnam era my granfather was in nam and from wat he tells me this is NOT a vietnam helmet be aware that only the steel pot is vietnam era the liner and chinstraps are 80's

win i first got the helmet it came with a OD green m1 helmet with the rim joining in the back so u no its vietnam. but the helmet it came with seemed a little small for the liner it was sticking out a little to much.luckly i had another vietnam m1 helmet shell and that works fine! the liner is very nice no problems wat so ever with mine i love it!!! the only thing that irretated me is the liner idk if they r supposed to stick out like this one did but i had a spare! great helmet i would buy another in a heartbeat ! and wiht the growing cost of these things u r getting a really good deal !!!

It is a great helmet and it has the scars to show for it. The helmet its self had a big dent in it but it was ok cuz tht gave it character. the only complaint i have was tht the inside liner soft part was a pain in the butt to asemble. the other part i didnt like was tht the pins for the liner were rusted shut other then those thing i will do business with Army Navy Deals again in a heartbeat

The only problems are that the scrim band was missing on mine and the chin strap is definitely a retrofit. However, these are small pieces that can be easily found at any gun show. All in all, this is the best deal available for a complete vietnam era helmet. Every part was in good condition with normal wear and tear.
