As a Texan, I'm very sensitive to the cold. This jacket has done a great job keeping me warm in the mild winters here. Don't be offput by it's initial stiffness, once it's been broken in it is quite comfortable. The sizing chart is a little off, so I'd recommend you get it a size or two larger than your shirt size. In my opinion, it's a good buy for the price.
