It is in that famous olive drab color that we all love so much, although it does hint towards the browner side. This parka has a hood to keep your ears nice and toasty on a windy day. There is plenty of pocket space in this parka with two breast pockets and two slash pockets at the hips. If you are familiar with the German’s you know that they love their moleskin, this jacket is no exception. Moleskin is awesome in the fact that water just beads on the surface, it will also protect you from the wind.

I had ordered the other German Parka listed on the site, but was shipped this one instead, that being said I am quite happy with the mix up as this is a very nice, warm, durable jacket. I really like the moleskin exterior as it's much more skin-friendly than a snowboarding jacket and for fall/winter use the extra length is appreciated, however that extra length also makes the coat a bit odd feeling for spring/summer without the liner.

I've gotten nothing but compliments on the jacket since purchasing it and have made a number of friends jealous due to the solid construction and overall good looks. Despite all of this I am fairly skinny for my height so it drapes over somewhat oddly, it's definitely meant for a more solid frame and I am now looking into an M-65.

I highly recommend this coat to anyone considering it, for both the price to performance ratio, and the overall uniqueness of it.

This is a gift for my son. I know he will like it as it is a replacement for one he has worn out(after many years) that we had bought used. He particularly likes the removable lining, hood and rain shedding feature.
