Comments about 5 Button G.I. Army sweater:

My husband and I loved this style of sweater when he was in the Navy. It is comfortable, warm, a nice dark-brown color, and stylish. It's great for cold-weather wear, and can be dressed up with a pair of nice slacks. Of course, since it is 100% wool, it does tend to be itchy, so you may want to wear a light T-shirt underneath it. Also, it eventually unraveled after long usage. It is probably best to use dry-cleaning for this item. We were never able to find this type of sweater again after my husband got out of the Navy, so we were very happy to find it at Uncle Sam's Army Navy Outfitters.
