These Knitted thermal pants are extremely warm. The knitting style used is small gauge ribbing. It is one sided, leaving the pearled side against the skin, which is softer than the opposite side. The leggings stretch to most sizes with an elastic waistband. At the ankle their is an opening to go over the bulkyness of combat boot, they can also be tucked in. 100% wool and very very warm....Great idea for dancers who need to throw something on over their danskin and pull off easily over the shoes.

I tried these out as a wool base layer for cold weather fishing. They are thick, durable and breathable and wear much lighter than they feel. Kept me warm on the ocean for 8 hours straight with the high temperature in the mid 20s. They fit just right as a base layer, but you could also wear them as a second layer with a thin base layer underneath.
Definitely recommend.
