Comments about Special Forces Vintage Fatigue Shirt:
So I have this shirt, and I think it is pretty stylish. The pics don't really do it justice. However, the sizing is really, really, odd. I am 5'10", 157lbs, with a measured 40" chest. I wear a 16 34/35 dress shirt. Now, here is the weird part. The "Special Forces" shirt I have is an EXTRA-SMALL, which claims a chest size of 29" - 33"! The shirt is a touch snug across my back when I sit down and extend my arms forward (but not much more so than my dress shirts). Otherwise, it fits the way a normal shirt should fit. I tried on a size small (label says chest size 33"-37") at my local army navy store. It was a touch baggy on me. The size medium, which claims a chest size of 37" - 41", is what I should be wearing in theory. It was HUGE on me.
I also have a Rothco/Ultra Force M-65 Field Jacket in a size small. The jacket is still a little loose, even when I wear a sweatshirt as a base layer. I am actually considering buying a replacement in the "extra small" size.
So, as a basic rule, order AT LEAST one size smaller than what you think you should be wearing. You may even want to consider going down TWO sizes.
